The 2013 “Yuan Ye Award” International Landscape Architecture

Graduation Project/Thesis Competition

The “Yuan Ye Award” International Landscape Architecture Graduation Project/Thesis Competition has been launched by the Landscape Architecture School of Beijing Forestry University, the College of Landscape Architecture of Nanjing Forestry University, the College of Horticulture & Forestry Sciences of Huazhong Agricultural University, the Department of Landscape and Urban Design of Chaoyang University of Technology, the Faculty of Horticulture of Chiba University and the Department of Environmental Landscape Architecture of Gangneung-Wonju National University. And it is hosted by the China Construction Education Association and , the China Flower Gardening and Landscaping Industry Association. The award is administered by the China Landscape Architecture website and WORLDSCAPE Magazine.

As an annual competition for graduates of Landscape Architecture schools, the “Yuan Ye Award” has been held 3 times since 2010. More than 100 universities and 2000 teachers and students from all over the world have participated. The “Yuan Ye Award” involves six prizes annually: the First Prize, the Second Prize, the Third Prize, the Incentive Prize, the Outstanding Mentor Prize (for the first prize winners’ mentors), and the Outstanding Organization Award.

All the graduates including Bachelor, Master and Doctoral majoring in Landscape Architecture internationally are welcomed to join the competition. The topic is unlimited and all projects and papers are welcomed.

The projects/theses includes four categories: Design Work in Landscape Architecture, Planning Work in Landscape Architecture, Design and Planning thesis in Landscape Architecture and Plants research thesis. Every group is divided into two groups: undergraduate and postgraduate.

All the projects/theses will be posted on the China Landscape Architecture Website and have the opportunity to be published.

We strongly encourage graduates to participate in the competition to exchange with others.

Submission deadline is May 31, 2013.
